Since its public demonstration in March, Foldera has generated a lot of buzz for itself.  At the CTC this week, the company launched its service: a hosted, web-based collaboration suite.  I sat down with Richard Lusk, Foldera's CEO, and Jnan Dash, the CTO, and talked about what Foldera is, and what the company is planning for the rest of the year.

Here's a conversation with Jana Eggers, the General Manager of Intuit's Quickbase division (www.quickbase.com). Quickbase is a web-based collaborative workspace which was first launched by Intuit in 2000. With a headstart of several years over most web-based collaboration suite competitors, Quickbase offers impressive depth. It features dozens of modules that support general projects, as well as one for specific industry verticals. At the Collaborative Technologies Coneference this week, Quickbase is announcing improvements to the product that make configuring and using QuickBase applications faster and easier, as Eggers explains.

This week at the Collaborative Technologies Conference in Boston, Near-Time is launching a hosted browser-based collaboration service called Near-Time.  The product features the ability to collectively create, manage and share web pages, news/blogs, and calendars. Conrad explains the technology that powers Near-Time, and what kinds of projects it's suited to.
