Enterprise 2.0 Conference Green Initiatives

The team for the Enterprise 2.0 Conference is working hard to implement changes that result in making us better global citizens. While we are still working to make this event even more environmentally friendly, we'd like to share some of the changes we've implemented so far:

• Eliminated direct mail pieces, resulting in 300,000 fewer brochures than last year
• Giving conference attendees Conference bags made of 100% post consumer recycled material
• Using recycled/recyclable materials for signage/banners available through general contractors. If we're not able to use recycled/recyclable materials, we're working to create designs that will allow re-use at future events
• Providing recycle bins or recycle stations throughout lobby areas and show floor
• We're asking our exhibitors to consider green friendly giveaways and print the minimum amount of materials for distribution at their booths.
• We've eliminated printed Tutorial materials and are providing downloadable documents to attendees instead.
